Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Practice Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing a healthcare practice, including operational, financial, and clinical aspects. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring our practice's smooth and efficient operation while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage practice budget and financial reporting.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment for all staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention.
- Manage and optimize practice workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Clinical Management:
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and improvement programs.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in wound care.
- Develop and implement protocols for patient care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Human Resources:
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage practice staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and communication.
Marketing and Business Development:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and build relationships with referral sources.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for practice growth and expansion.
- Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, hospitals, and community organizations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare practice management role, preferably in wound care.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Certification in healthcare practice management.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of wound care best practices and treatment modalities.
