Responsibilities + The Supervisor RN coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of the Nursing Department. As a Supervisor RN, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. + The Supervisor RN is responsible for assisting with the achievement of patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission of the hospital. Responsibilities: + Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of the patient's pathway to achieve identified outcomes. + Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients receiving services within the nursing department. + Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan. + Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based upon age-specific needs utilizing a developmental perspective. + Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position. + Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment. Decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or patients. + Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on assigned shift while coordinating with the Mgr Nursing and/or Dir Nursing. + Coordinates work activities with other supervisors. + Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. Develops plans to meet short-term objectives. + Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications + Current Licensure in the State + Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course. + CNOR preferred, not required + Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and/or BSN, Master's degree in Nursing/Management preferred. + 3-5 years of perioperative experience w/a minimum of (1) one year of Charge experience required USD $95,000.00/Yr.
