Preconstruction Estimator - Commercial Construction - Base Salary to 100k/year - Addison, TX

• Our client has over 50 years of experience catering to a spectrum of projects, from high-rise and mid-rise to single-story structures, delivering complete stucco and masonry solutions for multifamily, single family for rent, and senior living developments.
• They are currently seeking a Preconstruction Estimator to join their team in Addison. The Preconstruction Estimator will be working under the Preconstruction Manager and responsible for preconstruction services and preparing quantity summaries for multi-family projects ranging in size from $1M to $5M.

Responsibilities:

• Provide complete and accurate quantity take-offs.
• Write thorough and detailed bid summaries.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Identify plan discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Must be PC proficient including strong knowledge of business software, Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Proficient with construction software.
• Proficient with quantity take-offs and square foot estimating.
• 1+ years of experience in preconstruction estimating is preferred.
• Task and detail oriented in performing necessary documentation.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 80k - 100k/year range
