What You'll Do
- Will be ultimately responsible for developing, executing and managing a Predictive Maintenance Program.
- Responsibility includes all available predictive technologies: Thermography, Oil Analysis, Vibration, Ultrasonic, etc.
- Works with maintenance staff and technicians to identify where and when to apply different technologies.
- Determines sampling frequency, triggers, routes and methods for maintaining information.
- Takes the initiative to learn the technologies to the level necessary to do job effectively.
- Utilizes predictive maintenance tools to aid in troubleshooting equipment.
- Reports health of equipment Monthly including a plan to monitor any equipment with potential problems.
- Must be the leader on problems identified; recommending action plans to the area supervisor/manager.
- Continue to expand the use of predictive maintenance technologies throughout the plant.
- Willing to learn; enjoys tackling new challenges

What You'll Need
- Thorough understanding of predictive maintenance principles, technologies, and associated tools (prior certifications in Infrared Thermography and Vibration Analysis preferred).
- Computer skills: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, computerized document management systems, internet, and SAP.
- Technical skills: in depth understanding of machinery and maintenance techniques, ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Practical knowledge of mechanical applications, electrical applications, and common industrial processes
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and diagrams
- Ability to lead a project from design through installation and start up, including associated operational and maintenance training
- Team building and supervisory skills leading project teams and comfortable with supervising technical and non-technical personnel
- CMMS experience preferred
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BS Degree (Engineering or Technical Discipline) or equivalent trade school Associate Degree with 5-years of experience in Predictive Maintenance Technologies Preferred.
