About the Job
Contra Costa Christian Schools in Walnut Creek is seeking full time preschool teachers for our Preschool and Prekindergarten classes. Our program runs from August through May, with an option to work our Summer Camp in June.

Teacher Position Qualifications:
12+ ECE Units.
Successful candidates will be energetic, nurturing, reliable, professional, and love young children. They will be passionate about teaching in a Christ-centered environment and enthusiastic about planning and implementing a curriculum for beginning learners. Teachers must have a strong background in church involvement and commitment to the Christian faith in line with the CCCS statement of faith.
Background check & fingerprint clearance required. Ability to obtain negative TB test. First Aid/CPR and Preventative Health/Safety a plus!
Job description
- Work with team to create and adapt curriculum, teach, and administer all required duties for safe and effective operation of the preschool.
- Reports to the preschool director.
- Supervise lunch, recess and other events as assigned.
- Follow established protocols for preschool operations.
- Other duties as assigned by the preschool director.
