Press Operator - redShift Recruiting

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Press Operator (Hand Engraver) to join our client's team.

Responsibilities of the Press Operator will include:

• Manually loading materials into the print press and operating the press manually
• Inspecting finished products for defects to ensure high-quality output
• Monitoring the print press for any mechanical issues and making necessary adjustments
• Tracking production and maintaining accurate records
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications of the Press Operator:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in operating, adjusting, or manipulating mechanical machinery or similar equipment
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, maintaining neat and accurate records, and interpreting written and               verbal instructions)
• Basic math skills (accurate addition, subtraction, reading a ruler, etc.)
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and the physical ability to twist, bend, reach, grasp, sit, and stand for           prolonged periods
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18.50/hr.
