PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for gathering, translating and documenting business requirements of assigned projects. Researches, presents and leads continuous improvement opportunities. Performs advanced margin and profitability analysis and recommends solutions for continuous improvements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Participates in onboarding of key customers with a primary focus on pricing and promotional activities. Documents requirements of all parties and communicates any gaps or challenges to management. Works cross functionally to identify solutions.
+ Leads User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Business System pricing enhancements. Generates documentation and provides training.
+ Partners with internal teams to ensure accurate customer and pricing EDI setup. Assists with problem resolution.
+ Develops analytics on financial impact of changing price structures. Makes recommendations, ensuring maximum gross profit.
+ Identify and present opportunities for UNFI to drive pricing accuracy, maximize gross margin profit, monitor areas of potential risk, and enhance the efficiency of existing pricing related processes.
+ Works with internal teams to identify root causes of pricing variances. Provides tracking and makes recommendations.
+ Provides reporting as requested. Designs reports using MRS Report Writer or other tools, using information available in the Datamart.
+ Develops and maintains user documentation for system and operational processes and programs. Serves as a resource for the user community, as it relates to pricing.
+ Supports department managers and supervisors with projects and troubleshooting.
+ Creates and maintains key metrics, leadership dashboards.
+ Maintains the Company's professional reputation, both internally and externally. Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality.
+ Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
Experience:
+ 1-2 yrs. of related experience
+ System Implementation experience preferred.
Knowledge:
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and other Microsoft Office tools
+ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Skills/ Abilities:
+ Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability in problem identification, research for solutions, evaluation and presentation of alternatives.
+ Outstanding analytical skills (numerical, verbal).
+ Ability to gather information from a Datamart.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Able to organize, coordinate and direct projects.
+ Effective time management skills.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
+ Some travel may be required.
+ Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
+ Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
+ Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
+ Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.

Compensation
+ Pay Range: $50,000 - 90,500 Annually ($24.04 - 43.51 Hourly)

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. UNFI is committed to transparency in pay in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
