Primary Care (PACT) Opportunity Caring for Veterans in Guam - Department of Veteran Affairs

The Physician - Primary Care (PACT) vacancy is located Guam. The incumbent serves as a primary care physician in a patient-focused primary care team-based model, integrated with programs in mental health, prevention and care of chronic conditions, and healthy living. The Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient care for a panel of adult patients.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Join a team of 5 primary care physicians, 3 psychiatrists and 2 psychologists.
• Provide comprehensive Primary Care to a panel of assigned patients using the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model of care delivery.
• Patient panel size will gradually ramp over the first year from 900 to a full panel of 1,200. 
• Rotating travel to Saipan is required 6 times a year for 3 day increments. 
• Phone clinic 1 day per week may be taken from home or in-house.
• Work Schedule:  7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends.

Compensation: 

• Base + Market = $240K - $260K. Market Pay reviews are completed once every 24 months.
• Performance Pay up to $15,000 
• Inventive Pay of 10% each year for 3 years
• 2024 COLA is 12% for Guam (COLA is TAX FREE and calculated off of base salary ONLY)
