About the Role
Coalition is looking for a Principal Product Manager, Security to join our growing Product team, reporting to the Head of Products, Security Business. As a strategic product leader, you will spearhead the roadmap and execution for one of the pillars of our security product strategy. Collaborating with UX Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Market, Sales and other GTM partners, you will identify customer problems and opportunities in the security domain, shape the long-term roadmap, define success metrics and drive traction through focused execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and execution of one or more of the Security add-on products and services
- Obsess about our customers, business goals, and key metrics, investing in projects that grow the business responsibly for the long term
- Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, data analytics, and GTM teams to get inputs and drive alignment
- Drive activation, engagement, and adoption of your product area
- Launch products/features and drive market awareness by closely partnering with the Product Marketing team
- Define and execute a roadmap of pricing experiments to improve our pricing efficiency, effectiveness, product experience, and long-term profitability
- Make data-driven product decisions based on metric-driven analysis and qualitative user feedback, prioritizing ruthlessly to make swift tradeoffs and deliver effectively
- Become a thought leader in the security and compliance space to strengthen Coalition’s brand as a leading Cyber InsurTech
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related engineering fields.
- At least 7 years of experience building B2B SaaS products and services, with at least 3 years in one or more of the following security and compliance domains - EDR/MDR/XDR, Security Analytics/SIEM, Vulnerability Management, 3rd Party Risk Management, Data Classification / DLP, Cloud Security, and SaaS Application Security
- Attention to detail, with a strong eye toward building frictionless user experiences
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills, with an established history of close collaboration with data science teams
- Ability to articulate complex analytical and technical problems to stakeholders and executives from different areas of the business and guide discussions to actionable outcomes
- Track record of delivering products working with engineering teams and managing dependencies across multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated curiosity – a proven desire to dive into, deeply understand, and solve complex problems (such as the cyber insurance marketplace) to drive business impact
- Highly effective communication skills, primarily written, for multiple audiences
Bonus Points
- Experience building products sold to or via Managed Service Providers (MSP)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Experience with the business of insurance or regulated financial products
Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $175,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employees pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
