Print & Mail Operations Supervisor

Adecco is seeking candidates who are enthusiastic about managing production teams, optimizing workflow processes, and who possess a strong attention to detail for our position as a Print & Mail Operations Supervisor.
In the role of Print & Mail Operations Supervisor, you will supervise swing shift operations and manage a team of 15-30 dedicated employees, including both full-time personnel and temporary staff, to enhance efficiency and ensure operational excellence.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Print and Mail Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the inserting, sorting, and delivery of USPS First Class mail and overnight services. This role supervises a team of approximately 15 full-time employees and temporary staff.
Key responsibilities include coordinating production with other management, workforce and resource scheduling, process improvement and documentation, internal and external audits, quality control, inventory management, and developing strong working relationships with the USPS and overnight vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage workflow including handwork, machine inserting, sorting, and other mail production work to consistently meet client deliverables and organizational targets.
Provide regular detailed reporting to management on status, throughput, and department productivity.
Continuously review and update department operating procedures to maximize efficiency and ensure ongoing improvement.
Staffing management for 15+ employees and temporary staff, including strong management of overtime.
Performance management of full-time staff including ongoing coaching and feedback, disciplinary actions, annual objective setting and reviews, and individual development plans for top performers.
Maintain company standards, ensuring employees’ conduct aligns with company values and maintaining a safe and adequate work environment.
Apply knowledge of USPS rules and regulations for mailing.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience managing a production team with proven accomplishments.
Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in presenting to management
Knowledge of USPS rules and regulations required.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.

Start Date: Early as 10/21/24
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 4:30PM–1:00AM PDT
Training: On-the-Job—flexible schedule for shadowing day/swing supervisors as needed
Interview Process: One interview with two managers, or two separate interviews with different managers (dependent on managers’ schedules)
Additional notes to candidates:
(+) Strong administrative and computer skills are essential
(+) Ability to lift ~25 lbs., stand for ~4 hrs. a day, and learn machinery as needed.
(+) The bus stop by the center stops running after 6:00 PM PST.
Candidates should have reliable means to travel to and from work.
Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
