We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Services Technician to join our team as a Print Server Migration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for migrating print server configurations from a former parent company's print servers to a divestiture company's new print servers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a smooth and efficient transition of all print server settings, configurations, and functionalities to support the ongoing operations of the divestiture company.
Responsibilities:
Assess the current print server configurations of the former parent company and identify all necessary settings, configurations, and functionalities to be migrated.
Collaborate with key stakeholders from both the former parent company and the divestiture company to gather requirements and ensure a comprehensive understanding of the migration scope.
Develop a detailed migration plan outlining the steps, timeline, and resources required to successfully transfer print server configurations to the new servers.
Execute the migration plan by transferring print server settings, configurations, and functionalities to the divestiture company's new print servers while minimizing downtime and disruptions to printing operations.
