Private Wealth Portfolio Manager - Gpac

gpac is pleased to partner with a boutique firm, established in lower Fairfield County with over 30 years of offering highly customized, comprehensive wealth management and investment services. They are eager to welcome a new Portfolio Manager that is looking to grow an already established book. 

This could be an ideal opportunity for an independent Planner or Advisor with their own RIA, who would like more marketing, back-office support, positive community and benefits. 

This is also a great opportunity for a PM or FA to hop over into the independent wealth management sector, as there is potential for our client company to purchase your book from your current institution.

More about the company and the position:

• 30 years in lower Fairfield County built on providing highly customized comprehensive investment management and holistic financial advice.  

• Consistent client retention of over 25 years 

• Offers investment expertise and tech capabilities of large firms, within a boutique environment 

• Provide full back office, marketing, 3 admins, full time trader, stock analyst 3 other portfolio managers 

• If you are coming from a broker-dealer, they can buy your book from the company  

• Compensation is over half of the management fees.  

• Firm pays FULL travel & expenses, 2/3rd of top shelf medical & 401k 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Are an RIA 

• Local to Stamford 

• Manage customized individual accounts, buy individual securities, manage customized fund of individual securities.  

Required: 

• 4+ yrs experience 

• 20M book minimum 

• No licenses or MBA required, could have 65 

• Desire to grow your own business 

• Strong prospecting & business development skills
