Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed design packages for reactors, reactor systems, utilities, and tankage equipment, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Perform engineering calculations to determine equipment sizing, pressure drop, heat transfer requirements, and other critical parameters
- Collaborate with process engineers, operations, construction, HSSEQ… etc. to modify vessel drawings, and equipment layouts, and ensure designs meet process needs and safety considerations
- Work with other engineering disciplines (e.g., controls, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of all system components
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 Years Proven Experience in Chemical Process Design
- 60% office Setting/40% plant setting
- Strong track record building reactor systems
- Understanding of core engineering concepts for equipment design
- Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools like ChemCAD
- Knowledge of chemical equipment functionalities and limitations for selecting suitable equipment
- Ability to perform calculations for equipment sizing, pressure drop, and heat transfer
