As our projects multiply, DE is looking to recruit passionate & results-driven individuals and leaders in the area of energy transition to join its multi-dimensional team. Candidates are expected to have worked in different areas, including technology, economics, policy, and project management:
Industrial and energy process analysis, design, operations, optimization and trouble shooting
Development of process designs and Process Design Packages (PDPs)
Assessment and remediation of mercury, CO2, SOX, NOx and other acid gases
Energy sourcing, waste heat recovery and use technologies
Technology development and demonstration at lab, pilot and commercial scale
Fuel cell technologies
The Work/Deliverables We Do
Technical:
Assess emerging decarbonization technologies in the areas of carbon capture, gas processing and mechanical systems.
Participate in various consulting assignments such as techno-economic feasibility studies, pre-FEED & FEED studies, problem solving studies, optimization studies, business strategy development, etc
Develop process models (based on ASPEN, UNISIM, MS Excel, etc.) and conduct techno-economic analyses
Develop mass & energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs and design basis.
Explore, evaluate, and select technologies.
Review & develop policy frameworks.
Preparation of articles for conferences & journals
Carry out impactful internal projects / tasks that can lead to new business opportunities.
Managerial:
Preparation, review and delivery of project reports and client presentations
Project Management & Planning
Supervise juniors / colleagues.
Business Development:
Preparation of project proposals
Preparation & delivery of client presentations
Work on new business ideas & opportunities
Develop new business collaborations (industry, technology suppliers & research institutions)
Requirements / Eligibility
Demonstrated experience in solving complex problems in a fast-paced working environment.
Engineering background (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or related field); a higher degree (MS, PhD or MBA) is preferred.
Minimum 5+ years (10+ for lead roles) of experience in an industry role with technical, operational and/or commercial business development background
Experience in developing process models for industrial operations (using simulation tools such as ASPEN, UNISIM, etc.
Strong grasp of the MS Office suite - Excel, PowerPoint & Word
Excellent interpersonal and communication (English language) skills
Strong project management and delivery skills
Proven team-player with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple disciplines (technical, finance, management & BD).
