Production Engineer

A leading chemical production company is seeking an experienced Production Engineer for its modern 24/7 facility. This role serves as a technical resource to optimize plant performance, resolve operational issues, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective products. This position follows a hybrid schedule and reports to the Production Engineering Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize daily production to meet business objectives.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support operational excellence strategies.
  
• Write and update unit operation manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  
• Initiate Management of Change (MOC) for process adjustments and system improvements.
  
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure project success.
  
• Oversee the commissioning of new equipment installations.
  
• Conduct internal training to enhance plant operations.
  
• Provide technical support for project coordination and operations.
  

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
  
• 3–10 years of production/operations experience.
  
• Experience in a PSM/OSHA-regulated environment.
  
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
