Responsibilities The Process Excellence Specialist will be based in the Memphis, TN office with occasional national and international travel.
This is a great opportunity for a competent Process Excellence professional to join the Global Business Services organisation and be part of a highly engaged global team. The successful candidate will participate in a large-scale global transformation programmes and site-level continuous improvement projects. The candidate will be duly responsible for providing process and continuous improvement expertise and guidance to the business, and executing key deliverables with significant contribution to successful programme outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Position Functions % of Position
Use Lean Six Sigma tools and principles to identify operational and process efficiency improvement opportunities, develop compelling business cases and present to senior management for sign off 15%
Design and facilitation of workshops to understand current processes, conduct route cause analysis investigation, design future state and develop change plans 20%
Collect, consolidate, and analyze data and information, present it in a format that brings information to life and therefore supports effective decision making 10%
Conduct Gemba style process documentation and diagnostic activities 10%
Partner with senior management and business unit leads to create process excellence activity roadmap 10%
Work across all levels, from business leaders to front-line staff, to identify business impacts and support the development of change plans. 10%
Plan, schedule and monitor deliverable timelines ensuring timely completion of tasks in accordance with programme roadmap. 10%
Create and modify material to support knowledge transfer, implementation and training. 10%
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Process Excellence tools and methods 5%
Experience & Knowledge Essential REQUIREMENTS
Travel Up to 25%
Education • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or appropriate experience
• Industrial Engineering or Operations and Process Management emphasis preferable
Licenses/Certifications • Lean six sigma or BPM certifications
Experience • Relevant experience in a process development capacity supporting complex, global, large scale or business critical change or transformation programmes.
• Successful and demonstrable track record delivering end-to-end (from conception to benefits realization) process improvement initiatives
• Considerable experience developing process documentation, user guides, training material and quick reference guides.
• Knowledge of end-to-end process design and management highly regarded.
• Past experience developing and/or conducting Lean awareness/training sessions
Competencies • Able to work closely with people 'doing the process' (Gemba) to understand current processes and identify opportunities to improve.
• Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the programme management team, senior managers, the project teams and third party delivery partners.
• High levels of cultural awareness

• Extremely strong analytical skills
• Able to coach staff, influence actions, and impact decision making at all levels through the sharing of knowledge and past experiences
