Koch Capabilities is seeking a Process Safety Engineer - Rotational EH&S Professionals (REP) to join our teams this upcoming Summer 2025.

Successful candidates will be placed in a Process Safety Engineering Rotational EH&S Professional ("REP") role within Koch Capabilities and could be placed in two of the following locations (subject to business demand):
Flint Hills Resources:
- Corpus Christi, TX
- Rosemount, MN
- Wichita, KS
Koch Ag & Energy Services:
- Beatrice, NE
- Dodge City, KS
- Enid, OK
- Fort Dodge, IA
- Wever, IA
- Wichita, KS
The rotational program will allow the candidate to support and experience two sites, each for an estimated one-year period. During these experiences, the Process Safety REP will have a supervisor and an on-site mentor to assist in development and project execution. Location is flexible, accommodations can be made if needed, and additional locations are possible that are not in the above list. After the second year is complete, the candidate will be placed at a final location.
What You Will Do
The type of projects and initiatives a Process Safety REP can expect to see and do are the following:
- Actively lead and gain exposure by working on projects within various process safety elements (e.g., MOC, PSSR, PHA, PSI, Incident Investigations, etc.).
- Assist with design and roll-out of process safety efforts for facility personnel.
- Provide frequent input and review of process safety risk reduction practices, projects, and effectiveness.
- Lead and/or participate in projects requiring engineering expertise with a process safety focus.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Enrolled in a degree or alternative program. (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
- Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2025.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering related degree program.
- Prior completion of a chemical process safety internship or completion of a college course related to chemical process safety.
