Role: Process Specialist
Location: Athens, GA
Duration: Long Term
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for manufacturing processes (API, medical device raw materials/components).
- Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Support capital projects, process validation, and GMP documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze key process parameters, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED + 2 years of technical training (Bachelor's degree in Science preferred).
- 4-6 years of experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing.
- Familiarity with SAP and manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and manufacturing equipment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP, Minitab, and process control systems.
- Understanding of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Additional Info:
- Occasional off-shift work and on-call support may be required.
- Travel up to 10%.
