Process Technician - Talascend

About the Job
Our Process Technician will perform manufacturing/operational tasks for which they have been trained on, consistent with the requirements of the team, statutory and company standards (e.g. Health, Safety, Environment, Rolls-Royce Quality Management System, and Rolls-Royce Production System) including the manufacture and assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
As our Process Technician, your key accountabilities will include:
- Perform weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure equipment is safe and reliable
- Ability to stand for an extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion during a shift
- Ability to work as an individual and as a team player to get the job done.
- Ability to safely handle compressed gas cylinders and other containers of potentially hazardous chemicals
- Follow production plans in order to meet customer requirements
- Ability to resolve conflicts within the team in the spirit of team work in order to ensure high standards of professionalism at all times
- This is an entry level position and we are willing to train the right person
- Participating in cost reduction/operational improvements in order to satisfy customer needs
- Must be able to work a second or third shift depending on business needs.
- High School diploma or GED
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Experience within industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with compressed gases in industrial processes
- Detail oriented and able to follow procedures
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
