Procurement Category Manager (Hybrid) - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Companies is seeking a Procurement Category Manager (Hybrid) to support a well-established biotech company in the Raleigh, NC area. The Procurement Category Manager will be a part of a global procurement team and develop/implement systems and procedures that align with business objectives.

 Responsibilities of the Procurement Category Manager:

·       Develop and implement systems that align with business objectives that will optimize procurement function performance

·       Develop relationships with key stakeholders and educate on sourcing policies and processes

·       Work closely with internal leadership team to understand procurement needs while leveraging best value through strategic sourcing opportunities

·       End-to-end sourcing process

·       Lead sourcing initiatives, execute RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, supplier qualification process, supplier analysis, cost analysis, contract negotiations and supplier selection

·       Perform analysis on material usage and spend, meet schedule deadlines, and identify savings in departments

Qualifications of the Procurement Category Manager:

·       5+ years of experience in procurement and sourcing

·       Experience working in a GxP setting

·       Bachelor’s degree in related field

·       

Compensation for the Procurement Category Manager:

·       Salary: between $120,000 - $150,000 depending on years of relevant experience
