Procurement Manager – Asset Management
This take-charge leader will lead indirect procurement activities for assigned subcategories, including Asset Management (Heavy Fleet, Light Fleet, Material Handling Equipment, and Re-Usable Stainless Tanks) and typically reports to the Senior Manager of Asset Management Procurement. The strong performer will be recognized as procurement strategy expert and will collaborate with teams developing commercial solutions to accelerate our growth.

What you will do:
- Identifies, develops, and implements broader category sourcing strategies and savings projects for Asset Management subcategories to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate headwinds, implement best practices, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leads a Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process including spend analytics, market analyses, team workshops, should cost models, sourcing strategy development and negotiation.
- Effectively communicates strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams as required.
- Develops contract strategies and effectively negotiates key commercial and supply positions for the benefit of Ecolab business requirements and goals.
- Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories. Provides guidance and recommendations to business units to support margin and top line growth.
- Effectively implements strategic supplier strategies and initiatives. Develops business relationships at multiple levels within supplier accounts to manage performance, quality improvement, productivity, and service level.
- Leads, coaches, and develops direct reports to ensure strong performance and build high performing teams.
- Develops, aligns, and drives strategic projects to improve procurement processes, tools, and efficiencies.
- Manages procurement work streams associated with growth strategies and acquisitions to meet corporate objectives.
- Implements purchasing infrastructure in conjunction with functions and supply chain to assure availability at required quality & cost levels.
- Partners with Corporate and Supply Chain Finance teams on lease/buy strategy and P&L forecast impact.
- Aligned with Fleet Operations Manager and Corporate Sustainability team to meet corporate goals for carbon emission reduction.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Business, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, marketing, RDE, finance, or supply chain
- Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities through time management and prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with asset/fleet management (light fleet, heavy fleet, MHE, and reusable totes)
- Experience with structuring and leading complex negotiations with suppliers like: Fleet Management Companies, Light and Heavy Fleet OEM’s, Material Handling Equipment Solutions
- Solid analytical skills and 5+ years of work experience in a business environment
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Finance, or related field
- Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills
- Demonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievement.
- Demonstrated skills in clear communication, professionalism, and presence in interaction with others
