The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Product Acceptance Spec C for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Charleston, SC. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $40 to $45.50hr – (W2).
- Shift hours: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM - Monday through Friday (Onsite). These positions are variable shifts, must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift dependent on business need.
- 12 month assignment - possibility to extend or convert based off performance and budget. (No guarantees)
- Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
- Provides objective evidence of results.
- Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
- Must support inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statement majority of the time.
- Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
- Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
- Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).
Qualifications:
- High school degree or GED required.
- 8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry.
- A&P License.
- 2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES.
- Composite fabrication experience.
- Structural work experience (wing work).
- Wiring experience.
- Production testing experience.
- 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Skills:
- Completion of an Apprenticeship in an MEP trade.
- Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis.
- Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool assisted inspection methods.
- Experience in a team environment.
- Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
- 787 Program Experience.
