The Impact You’ll Make
Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
Product Roadmap / Strategy / Execution
- Customer focused role on new product introduction to key North America customer
- Collect & understand customer needs and Lam business objectives to align organizations to support.
- Facilitate roundtable reviews of customer deployment strategy, program roadmap, and organizational priorities
- Ownership of overall facilities documentation packages, coordinating with account team, business development, process, productivity and engineering on completion of customer documentation aligned with Lam business objectives
- Align and track system configurations to maintain accuracy of customer documentation
- Own closure of open customer issues working with account team and engineering
- Hold team members accountable to the aligned deliverables through cadence of regular reviews. Proactively anticipating issues at customer introductions and driving accountability to mitigate ahead of time
- Manage implementation strategy for product enhancements, new options, and fixes.
- Communicate via Plan of Record (POR) to the development team, operations, and customer accounts to align implementation of product changes.
- Accountable for driving across organizations to make sure products meet performance targets, is supported in the field with proper documentation and training.
- Mentor AT to on how to deliver excellent customer experience with Lam Etch tools.
What You’ll Do
Product Lifecycle Management
- Prioritize allocated resources aligned with overall organizational objectives.
- Capture and communicate early forecasts and shipment plans documented in the Unreleased Build Plan Process (URBP); develop customer installation and field readiness plans accordingly.
- Define & manage ECOGS implementation and Install & Warranty issue resolution in the field. Coordinate and monitor execution of mandatory retrofit and supplier quality excursion recovery programs.
- Holds AT and other orgs acct to meet I&W goals. Develops customer specific programs to improve.
- Communicate across Lam and with customer known product issues, the impact to ongoing operations/production and POR. Lead CFTs as necessary, coordinating operations and development groups, to mitigate the customer production impacts when scarce resources are available.
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum education: BS in an engineering discipline; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years applicable experience; previous experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry preferred.
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
- 25% Domestic travel required

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $117,000.00 - $259,000.00
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
