About the Job
Your Job: As a Product Manager for CoreSync Connected Products, you will drive commercialization, marketing, and product development efforts. You will lead activities across suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, channel partners, and strategic marketing to deliver exceptional products.
What You Will Do In Your Role:
• Manage Product Portfolio and Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to retirement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders and customers to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
• Transactional Activities: Collaborate daily with sales, engineering, and manufacturing facilities to manage product line activities.
• Market Analysis: Develop insights on technologies, products, customers, and competitors. Convert market trends into actionable product strategies.
• Market Needs Identification: Identify unmet needs in the market and develop compelling value propositions to address them.
• Pricing Strategy: Define, execute, and manage pricing strategies. Compile competitive price points.
• Product Requirements: Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements and user stories. Ensure all user stories align with overall scope and requirements.
• Backlog Management: Effectively manage and refine the product backlog. Participate in sprint planning sessions.
• Testing and Release Support: Support the testing and release of products and features. Create and draft acceptance criteria, and support Quality Assurance meetings for validation and acceptance.
• Product Market Readiness: Ensure products meet certification requirements for introduction in various regions across the globe.
• Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investments.
• Content Development: Independently develop demos, webinars, videos, technical collateral, ROI/value-oriented assessments, etc.
• Sales and Partner Training: Train and enable sales and partner teams to deeply understand the buyer value proposition and product features.
• Technical Writing: Assist in creating documentation that addresses audience needs.
• Marketing Campaigns: Craft and implement marketing campaigns targeting channel partners and customers to increase awareness and adoption of the Molex CoreSync platform.
• Customer Engagement: Travel to meet with customers and channel partners onsite to understand their needs and design products that exceed their requirements.
The Experience You Will Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in product management, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in product management, technical sales, or engineering in a related field.
• Good knowledge of various product development practices, including Scrum or Agile methodologies for software development and traditional engineering waterfall design processes for hardware development.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, IoT platforms, and API-driven integrations.
• A strong desire to interface directly with business stakeholders and customers.
What Will Put You Ahead:
• Industry experience and working knowledge of lighting control solutions or building automation platforms.
• Proven background in positioning and commercializing digital-based products.
• Experience with sales enablement in a partner and alliances context.
• Expertise in cybersecurity products and services.
