The Role
The Product Manager will drive the growth and profitability of the Photopolymer product lines by developing new business opportunities and supporting existing customers. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met while working alongside the Business Manager to achieve strategic goals.
Success will be measured by increased sales, enhanced customer satisfaction, and improved profitability from both existing and new business. Additionally, the role involves building a deep understanding of competitors, as well as fostering strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
External US:Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Collaborate with the Business Manager to identify, develop, and implement strategic plans for the product line, ensuring alignment with market demands and business unit objectives.
- Engage directly with customers to gather and present insights on current and anticipated market needs for existing and future technology nodes.
- Partner with the Business Manager and sales teams to establish pricing strategies for new products and manage pricing for existing offerings, while collaborating with finance on cost and profitability analyses.
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive responses to customer RFQs/RFIs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate cross-regionally to support global business objectives and align with international strategies.
- Oversee the commercial and technical requirements of the product lines for both internal and external customers, ensuring seamless execution.
- Drive new business acquisition efforts at key customer accounts while supporting existing business through in-depth business analysis and high-quality customer presentations.
- Address customer product application needs directly or through internal resources, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Develop and manage sales and spending budgets, forecasts, and product line objectives, continuously monitoring performance to meet or exceed targets.
- Facilitate and manage change processes for both customers and internal teams to support business evolution and improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Quality teams to address product line management, change control, and issue resolution.
- Support key supplier development initiatives and assurance programs to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Oversee the product life cycle, guiding the commercialization process for new products in collaboration with Product Development teams.
- Lead internal and external projects focused on cost reduction and profitability enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in partnership with the product regulatory team to safeguard the product line’s compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is required; MBA is also required.
- At least 9 years of experience in semiconductor chemicals or industries with high product quality standards such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices, with a minimum of 2 years in product management. Experience with lithographic technology or semiconductor packaging is a plus.
- Strong desire to advance in business management with proven leadership potential.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and manage activities related to chemical, physical, material, and process issues.
- Proficient in statistical analysis and design of experiments (DOE) to interpret data for informed decision-making and customer presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other software tools to create high-quality, impactful presentations for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with demonstrated expertise in organizing and communicating data effectively across teams and to stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
