Planet Interactive is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 3 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and will be fully remote.
The main function of the Product Marketing Manager is to run marketing activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans and managing marketing staff. The team works on marketing messages focused on writing adoption of writing messages in specific markets. The individual will be focused on driving this adoption in the market.
The ideal candidate will be joining a small team supporting business messaging. Within this, there is opportunity to drive long-term revenue, which is key for the company. The individual will be working on a relatively new product and bringing it to the market, while bringing adoption.

Responsibilities:
- Marketing human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees;
- Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
- Contributing marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
- Preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
- Forecasting requirements for marketing financial objectives; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, communications, or journalism
- 3-4+ years of experience with product marketing background
- In-bound experience with research
- Ability to present to executive leadership
- Experience working with sales
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Preferably experience in Ad space
- Customer service skills and interpersonal skills
