Title: Product Project Manager
Location: Varies
Reports to: Director
FLSA Status: Salaried, Exempt
Job Summary
The Product Project Manager provides project management for the development of new products and updates to existing products. They will actively partner cross functionally with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to drive project management programs that support Reser’s brand, mission, and product portfolios.
Essential Position Functions
• Directs and is accountable for all aspects of project planning, project management and traffic control for new products and product update projects.
• Manages and prioritizes multiple, concurrent projects against aggressive timelines without compromising accuracy or quality.
• Applies project management methodologies and serves as project lead to ensure cross-functional team members understand and work toward accomplishing the business vision, goals, and objectives.
• Communicates project plans, status, issues, risks, and requirements to relevant audiences and stakeholders.
• Develops best practices and continuous improvement to gain efficiencies; recommends changes to procedures to maximize resources.
• Ensures that projects and deliverables meet or exceed time and quality standards.
• Works to identify and address problems in the development and delivery of projects.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred and 5 or more years’ experience in manufacturing or food industry required. 5 or more years project management experience is preferred. PMP certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrate confidence as a driven self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and multitask.
• Ability to work with a strong teamwork-based approach to projects and ability to influence others and enable projects to move quickly from start to finish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a very dynamic environment.
• Extremely strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Skill in utilizing project management software to develop project plans, risk, track project milestones, timeliness and completion.
• High ability to adapt, comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, be able to roll with the punches and accepting of imperfection.
• Be able to look ahead to identify and communicate risks.
• Must be proficient in MS Office suite.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
• Office environment with periodic business assignments at a refrigerated food manufacturing plant.
• Flexible schedule may be required based on business needs.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
