Brief Overview: Launch Stability/Launch & Manufacturing Steering
To be competitive to drive all supporting departments to achieve the needed DRR target of for SOP, with an electrical DRR with support from production and launch team while maintaining steering of Launch related issues in Assembly- addressing of Build issue topics back to their origin (Body, Paint, Assembly, Logistics, Baureihe, IE, IT, Pilot team, Planning).
To maintain communication circle between all departments.
Work primarily in Cooperation with the Assembly Launch Team as well as Body & Paint Launch Group
Ensuring change point or model introduction steering and target implementation
Actively promoting Milestone achievements, in terms of Team Member Training, process development, equipment readiness and Direct Run preparation starting with 0S to SOP.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead Implementation of problem resolution, assign task to Planning, IE, Quality, Logistics, Body Shop and Pilot team in regards to launch influences such as buildability findings, process optimizations, equipment issues and corresponding timeline, parts corrections and electrical process readiness.
- Target to ensure launch readiness within manufacturing and the launch groups.
- Ensure shift training for new model projects.
- Ensure change point or model introduction steering and target implementation.
- Lineside readiness (Pilot, R&D, Logistics, Planning, Torque team and Assembly)
- Creation and generation of required shift or daily reports as and when required
- Assign fault finding and recurring topics and feedback to end of line, eQRK and lineside electrical
- Buildability Tracking Data and assignment of critical topics to (Planning, PH, IE, Quality, Logistics, Body Shop, Paint Shop)
- Develop and implementing of countermeasures to resolve problems line side as well as end of line
- Address and coordinate product and process changes.
- Oversee and track IBN launch obstacles and immediately address.
- Support Manufacturing Launch Team and work in close relationship on support and escalation needs.
- Organize, patriciate and report in meetings.
- Confirm results of internal and external changes
- Interaction with supporting departments and engineering when required on HW/SW changes.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the production processes, procedures and methods as well as the technical processes and steering of launch related topics in regard to manufacturing.
- Manufacturing Steering Experience
- Experience leading cross functional launch teams
- Experience in problem reporting and steering
- Software and Commissioning experience
- Leadership skills. Experience in:
- Quality
- Creation of training plans
- Bottleneck identification and installation of Build issue rounds.
- Issue Containment
- DRR Feedback
- How to filter out to the main errors with team
- Process optimizations
- Vehicle launch project engineering and management experience
