Production & Logistics Manager

General Responsibility Statement:

The Manager is responsible for managing the receipt of heavy equipment bases, production of  modifications, and shipping associated bodies as planned in the production schedule. 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Works with the Manufacturing Managers to coordinate departmental workflow, internal production planning, and oversees productivity within the chassis prep/logistics area. 
2. Experience with metal fabrication 
3. Coordinates and directs chassis receiving and shipping logistics both internally and externally.
4. Manages installation of product that is considered “offline” content.
5. Manages schedules, materials, personnel, and attends production related meetings.  
6. Assists Production Workers and Production Technicians by providing training, guidance, and support in the manufacturing processes.  Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists others in solving work related problems.  Stresses the importance of doing it right the first time before passing it on.
7. Assists with or maintains time and production records.   Participates in all continuous improvement activities by offering suggestions.  Exhibits good judgment and takes initiative in areas within direct control.
8. Exceeds quality standards in most every job assignment.   Recognized by management for taking a leadership role in their area/department.
9. Follows all organizational and departmental procedures, safety policies
