While reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for shift performance metrics, production scheduling, material planning and control, and managing over hourly employees across 3 shifts. Also, as part of the Management team you will be involved in safety, quality, productivity, material handling and cost performance, in a high-performance work team environment. What you'll be doing: You will Lead the charge in Sonoco’s safety first philosophy You will positively motivate a team of 10 direct reports and 50 indirect reports You will ideally have previous experience working with P&L, and may have some P&L responsibility You will have a relentless focus on continuous improvement in all areas to ensure process and manufacturing cost are always the most competitive in the industry. You will be committed to employee engagement and help them to reach their full potential. This position is located in Opp, AL.
