Production Manager - Employer Solutions Staffing Group

Production Manager who is interested in a full-time salaried position. We are interested in a candidate who has some experience in food handling or production, is detail oriented, self-directed, and who is interested in the hands-on operation and management of a focused, friendly and well-run food production facility. Job expectations include the following: Manage the day-to-day operations of the production facility including production scheduling and order fulfillment Utilize the inventory software platform to create production workflow, track inventory, enter sales orders, and make purchases; experience in the Fishbowl platform is preferred but not necessary Oversee and manage production staff Ensure production procedures are adhering to established food safety program including production documentation, environmental monitoring, daily sanitation, management of GMP s through established documentation, observation, and employee training, and management of CCP s through established documentation, observation, and employee training Ensure facility is OSHA compliant and safe, provide employee training on facility safety and maintain the facility safety program Manage ongoing equipment maintenance through established programs Become knowledgeable with equipment operation and understand and familiarize with trouble shooting and repair of equipment Manage maintenance of company refrigerated straight truck, valid Class D license required and willingness to operate vehicle when needed Participate in weekly production meetings with management Participate in monthly management meetings on food safety and work with management on any production matters that have impact on the food safety program Participate in the annual two-day BRC audit with a third-party auditor Knowledge of Spanish language preferred but not required Training will be provided on all job elements including the Fishbowl inventory management software platform and the well-developed food safety program requirements.
