Job Title: R&D Technician
Degrees Required: Technical Degree (Material Science, ME., ChE, EE.or Physics)
Summary:
Work with the Client's, Applications and Technology teams to bring new products and new technologies into the marketplace and support existing commercialized products. Work directly with a Product Development engineer with the major responsibility of supporting the various activities to generate and test product performance vs. specifications.

Brief Job Description
- Capable of set-up and calibrating test equipment for the testing of product performance.
- Duties require self-scheduling time to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Run designed experiments using six sigma principles.
- Document results, spreadsheets and presentations, discuss observations with team.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Follow all safety practices quality procedures and equipment SOP's., maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Minimum Skills Required:
- Technical Associate Degree
- Demonstrated Analytical capability and failure analysis
- Experience working in an industrial laboratory setting preferred.
- Demonstrated capability to follow safe working practices and quality procedures
- Good time management and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated drive and initiative, flexibility and strong attention to detail
