We are actively seeking experienced and dedicated Production Supervisors to join and grow in the PPG organization. We have multiple opportunities on all shifts. The Production Supervisor will ensure all production, quality, safety, and plant processes are being correctly practiced and executed.

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and rules
• Coordinate production schedule as directed by department manager
• Perform machinist duties as needed to fill in and meet commitment schedule
• Perform first piece sign off without exception
• Ensure paperwork is correct and complete per AS9100D standard
• Ensure machine function and output is according to specifications
• Meet or exceed daily production goals
• Act as a resource for employees to resolve operational issues during the shift
• Provide daily feedback to management with regard to machine, quality, or operational issues
• Assist teams to achieve existing goals in production and quality
• Identify and support continuous improvement efforts
• Ensure compliance with company polices with regard to attendance and conduct
• Be hands on working lead, train new employees, trouble shoot problems as needed
• Coach, support, and encourage shift team members to grow and learn
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4 Years machining experience or 6 years supervising in a manufacturing environment
• Attend and complete internal supervisor training seminar
• Successful score on current department assessment
• Current employees applying must be in good standing with company policies to include attendance, scrap, and adherence to safety policies
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematic calculations

Compensation details: 25-25 Hourly Wage
