We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Production Team Lead to join our thriving manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive organization where you can make a real difference. As a Permanent Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining a high level of quality control. You will also have a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage daily production activities, ensuring that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
2. Coordinate and supervise the production team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
3. Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency and productivity improvements.
5. Monitor and control production costs, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, reports, and documentation.
8. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
9. Participate in recruitment and selection processes for production staff.
10. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a production lead role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in managing and coordinating production teams.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
7. Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
8. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
9. Proficiency in using production management software and systems.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and development, with the ability to adapt to changes and challenges in the manufacturing industry.
11. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
