*The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking a motivated and experienced candidate for the position of *Program Coordinator II (PC 2) *with the Southeast Residential Program, located in Fall River. * *GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* The Area Office Program Coordinator will work under the direction of the Area Director or designee and be responsible for data management and project/assignment completion related to the CMS waivers, ISP/LOC/POC compliance, and other waiver-related matters. The position will be responsible to provide support and assistance to the Area Director and other area office staff related to the management and completion of assignments, projects, data collection and other related activities, as well as support, as needed, with contracting activity and fiscal monitoring. The position may involve support to the Area Director related to clinical and risk management related matters. The position may participate in procurement processes, resource allocation and tracking, and contract management and oversight activities. Dependent upon the needs of the Area Office, the position may provide technical assistance related to Participant Allocation Management (P.A.M.), Meditech enrollments, and the management of the Participant Directed Program portal and other self-directed program activities. The position may provide supervision to individuals of a lower grade. The position is a member of the Area Office Management Team and is involved in management-level planning and activity. *DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* 1. Coordinates, develops, & monitors databases, tickler systems, and tracking systems in order to promote effective operations and document compliance with established rules, regulations and standards 2. Makes recommendations for changes in tracking systems, databases, and tickler systems to enhance Area Office’s effective use of human resources and technology. 3. Provides technical assistance and advice to Area Office personnel and others concerning assigned programs in order to exchange information, resolve problems and to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and standards. 4. Reviews and analyzes data to determine progress and effectiveness of internal operations in areas. 5. Responds to inquiries from Area Office staff and others in order to provide information concerning oversight and development of assigned systems. 7. Maintains liaison with various private, local, state and federal agencies and others in order to exchange information and/or to resolve problems. 8. Performs related duties such as attending meetings and conferences; maintaining records; and preparing reports. 9. Works daily with computers and various programs (Meditech, HCSIS, PAM, PPL, FMIS) 10. Develops and implements procedures, systems, and guidelines to accomplish Area Office program objectives and goals. 11. Perform other related work as needed. * QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities. Knowledge of the organizational structure and functions of the assigned agency. Knowledge of the proper procedures for established agency network and telephone systems. Knowledge of the types and uses of agency forms. Knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations governing the state personnel system. *_SCHEDULE Information: _* Full-time – 37.5 hour weekly position.
