About the Job
Lead a team of Program Managers and Senior Managers to grow and manage the teammate agreement and contracts with one of our partners. Responsible for strategic direction and overall P&L performance in addition to decision-making and people management. Establishes overall direction and adherence to company processes, policies, and systems. Establish and maintain close relationships with customers, industry teammates and functional partners.
Responsibilities:- Develop a vision, strategy and associated tactics for the assigned contracts that drives growth and operational excellence.
- Lead the current business portfolio to achieve operational excellence, high customer satisfaction, maximization of revenue and profitability, high staff retention and continued growth.
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, and current programs.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Provide leadership to business development activities including strategic business planning, new business forecasting and strategic capture.
- Conduct reviews & coordinate approvals of major bids and proposals to ensure success through opportunity, risk, and financial analysis.
- Translating strategic priorities into operational reality by aligning communication, accountabilities, resource capabilities, internal processes, and ongoing measurement systems.
- Establish, grow and maintain close customer relationships, participate in the marketing and sales process, and actively promote the organization’s capabilities and strengths; ensure that customer perspective is a driving force behind business decisions and activities.
- Driving high standards for individual, team, and organizational accomplishment through teamwork and empowerment; tenaciously work to meet or exceed challenging goals and foster continuous improvement.
- Manage team of Program Managers, Senior Managers, and other Program Management Office Personnel.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
- Must be willing to travel domestically up to 25%.
- Experience managing program budgets $100million or larger
- P&L experience
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
- Agile Certification
- Experience as Program Manager for DoD large program (>$25M annual revenue).
