Job Overview Program Director:
Join our client's expanding healthcare team as a Program Director in Staten Island, NY! The Program Director will be responsible for leading initiatives to support clients transitioning from homelessness to housing using various supportive techniques and interventions.
Location: Staten Island, NY
Compensation: $87,000 $92,000/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Day Hours)

Join our client's expanding healthcare team as a Program Director in Staten Island, NY! The Program Director will be responsible for leading initiatives to support clients transitioning from homelessness to housing using various supportive techniques and interventions.

Responsibilities as the Program Director:
- Manage Program Components: Oversee SOS teams, outreach, and housing placement activities across multiple locations.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and support Assistant Program Directors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop Strategies: Create and implement outreach and engagement plans to support individuals on the street and in transitional housing.
- Ensure Performance: Meet housing placement goals and use data to track and achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate with Partners: Work with community stakeholders, city agencies, and service providers to develop strategies for addressing homelessness.
- Budget Management: Oversee the programs budget and financial performance.
- Education: NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) required, to be obtained within six months of employment.
- Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in 24/7 programs and with homeless populations.
- Skills: Proficiency in Housing First, Motivational Interviewing, and Harm Reduction, with experience in crisis intervention and effective communication with diverse groups.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Access-based databases.
- Additional: Bilingual Spanish/English preferred!
