Responsibilities:- A Program Manager must have current experience, in the Linux and Unix Operating System (OS) Environment, manage a diverse portfolio with IT projects both large and small
- Must be well versed, with current knowledge, in full systems life cycle development, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure, and management practices surrounding a Linux and Unix OS portfolio
- Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program, be able to manage to cost, schedules and performance
- Must be able to properly communicate, both orally and written, have current master level experience managing contractor staff, coordinating staff’s Holiday/Weekend shift changes, and provide counseling to subordinate staff as needed
- Must have expert ability conducting perspective candidate interviews, documenting calls, and communicating findings to the VAPM, must be able to work with senior staff, and provide detailed reports from dashboards and monitoring tools when requested
- Must be an expert using current Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and Word
- Must have current experience leading and managing Red Hat Linux (RHEL) v7/8 and Solaris Unix (UNIX) v11 project teams, products, and processes across the lifecycle of multiple ongoing and reoccurring projects
- Must have current experience delivering success for a diverse portfolio of RHEL and Unix projects, both large and small, and must be proficient using various project management tracking tools, i.e., SPLUNK, SolarWinds,ScienceLogic, eNcase, AppDynamics, Imperva, Informatica, etc.
- Must have current and mastery level experience Evaluating, determining, and documenting specific requirements related to RHEL and UNIX projects and be able to translates those requirements into resource and deliverable based roadmaps with targeted release dates for Divisional accomplishments and success
- Must be an expert developing and managing project risk registers for a diverse portfolio of RHEL and UNIX projects, both large and small
- Must be a master communicator, able to effectively communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences across multiple levels of the organization to and through cross-functional organizations, able to provide detailed and routine reporting of project milestones, risks, impediments, escalate requirements, deliver divisions vision and strategy of each project, its roadmap of planned deliveries, and capabilities/results of all release projects, and managing the expectations to and from senior leadership, stakeholders and/or governance groups
- Mastery Experience leading, coordinating, and facilitating meetings to review project status with core project team members, key stakeholders, and corporate team members
- Must be a master at motivating staff, working with cross-organizational and cross-functional teams, and coordinating schedules to accomplish the greater mission of the organization’s complex RHEL and UNIX projects, to prompt each project’s delivery and success
- Expert at Managing assigned tasks to completion within schedule, budget, and scope of each RHEL and UNIX project
Ideal Candidate:
- Will have working experience supporting and editing SharePoint pages and Dashboards, Creating/Maintaining content for JIRA and ServiceNow and have experience growing PowerBI content
- Will be Project Management certified (e.g., PMP, CAPM, CPMP, APM) preferred
- Will be highly flexible with appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables
- Will have Experience in developing and tracking progress against detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, issues resolution and capacity planning for multiple, simultaneous projects
Education:
- Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline.and 15 years’ Experience
- Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (25 years total)

- Moderate: Tier 2S (Standard MBI)
