Job Title: Program Manager, Insurance Affinity
Reports To: VP, Finance and Account Management, Allegacy Services

In order to achieve this state of success, this position serves as the primary liaison among Allegacy personnel, members, and HILB (“Agency”) to ensure service levels and member experience meet Allegacy standards
Specific Accountabilities
- Meet or exceed established referral, revenue, and service goals
- Deliver exceptional member service to every member, every time by ensuring employees deliver consistently high quality service to both internal and external member that is in alignment with our Brand Culture.
- Ensure thorough understanding of expectations and consistently exhibit Allegacy behaviors.
- Build relationships and awareness of insurance products among Allegacy staff
- Market, service and promote the Agency’s products and services to develop and retain insurance relationships with Allegacy’s consumer, business, small business members and select employee groups
- Work with Financial Center Mangers, and other credit union business lines to identify and leverage cross-sell opportunities.
- Review options available as well as suggested implementation schedules. Introduce clients to services and insurance products offered through affinity programs and affiliated insurance relationships.
- Support annual planning and execution of sales and product promotional strategies, aligned with overall credit union marketing activities
- Promote affinity programs, product and services to all internal constituents of Allegacy including retail, financial planning, business, and small business
- Assist member/clients with account transactions including follow-up and correspondence using automated procedures.
- Check new and renewal policies, and endorsements for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages, signatures, and input these transactions.
- Handle calls from both clients and carriers resolving issues and concerns for member/clients
- Assist relationship managers to proactively manage accounts prior to renewal to identify concerns, external competition, exposure changes and additional coverage needs
- Monitor referral performance, follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, reports, and follow up on overdue and suspense items
- Assist clients through the enrollment and or renewal process and educate on policy/product features, advantages, and disadvantages.
- Identify and refer opportunities to expand relationships
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the marketplace
- Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers.
- Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes in those provisions.
- Monitor the performance of the affinity program by ensuring track of joint marketing, referrals, cross-sales, member complaints
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate level with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Database experience preferred
- Organizational skills, detail oriented
- Ability to professionally interact with clients on the phone and in meetings.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Multi-tasking and ability to prioritize
- Team oriented, reliable, flexible
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma; College degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Active Property/Casualty License to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Insurance experience preferred
