Program Support Assistant Trainer (Remote) - National Older Worker Career Center

Provide training on administrative duties as well as policy and systems common to Program Support Assistants (PSA). Assist units by completing PSA duties when needed.** Must have been a former Program Support Assistant or higher in ARS. The enrollee shall not sign federal documents, authorize the use of federal funds, nor initiate or conduct federally funded research projects. The enrollee shall not author articles for publication as a federal employee, nor coordinate scientific research between the Government and private industry. The enrollee shall not present themselves as a Government employee or Government representative at meetings both foreign and domestic or when coordinating federal agencies? areas of research. • May provide training on the administrative processes and systems related to financial (including CATS), procurement, agreements, property, personnel (preparing sample position descriptions, performance management, RPES, recruitment, onboarding, separation, promotion and LA appointments), and purchasing (approving expenditures, utilizing Purchase Card Management System and Blanket Purchase Agreements) duties of a PSA.   25%
• May provide training on domestic, foreign and contributed or sponsored travel policy and systems.   25%
• May provide training on the Annual Resource Management Plan (ARMPS) process and systems including developing and executing the annual budget.   20%
• May provide training on procedures, systems, and documentation requirements for the Current Research Information System (CRIS) projects, OSQR, research plans, annual progress reports, research associate proposals, and manuscripts.   20%
• Assists units by preparing documents, entering information and monitoring administrative actions. Actions may include but are not limited to domestic and foreign travel, agreements, manuscripts, invention disclosures, fund transfers, post doc applications, annual reports. Provides reports and information to the research leader when requested.   10%
