About the Job
The part-time (20 hours) Girl Experience Coordinator - Life Skills will provide support to the Girl Experience team with a primary focus on Life Skills and Juliette (individually registered Girl Scouts) member coordination. This individual will provide support for Girl Experience (GE) programs and activities including assisting in preparation, planning and communication with members and community program providers. The GE Coordinator will primarily provide administrative and customer support to the Life Skills program pillar, including reporting, data entry, and phone and email customer service.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
- Assists in the development and implementation of Life Skills Girl Scout programs
- Provides customer service to volunteers, members (girls and adults) and staff via phone, electronically, and in-person
- Serves as the primary point of contact and liaison for members (girls and adults) who are registered as "Juliettes", supporting their individual participation in Girl Scout activities outside of a traditional troop setting to ensure member satisfaction
- Completes data entry, verification, and reporting in multiple software and database systems, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Doubleknot
- Prepares meetings and trainings; including researching and reserving facilities, procuring equipment, creating signage, and ensuring supplies are in place
- Composes, formats and types correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Manages event logistics and oversees check-in procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Establishes and maintains an electronic and hard copy filing system
- Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative experience required
- Associates degree required, bachelor's degree desired.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal and customer service skills. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Software skills, including MS Office Suite and database software.
- Organized, accurate, thorough, and timely.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong prioritization skills needed in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with or interest in Life Skills education and youth activities desired.
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Licensed and insured CA driver; must pass background screening including driving.
- Willingness to accept the beliefs and principles of the Girl Scout Movement and acceptance of the relevant and compelling benefits of Girl Scouting.
- Bilingual ability is a plus.
