We are currently searching for a dedicated Programming Engineer to join our team.

What is a Programming Engineer?
A programming engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining software that controls machinery, production processes, or automation systems. They write and manage code for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, and other automated equipment to ensure efficient and accurate operation. These engineers help streamline production, troubleshoot software or system issues, and improve overall manufacturing processes. Their work ensures that manufacturing systems run smoothly, meet production goals, and adapt to new technologies.
In this role, you will:
Design and create all nests for the laser department using Lantek
Assist in design and creation of drawings using Inventor, SolidWorks or other software
Develop CAD models of components/assembles and revises existing CAD drawings working independently to verify requirements
Submit drawings for customer approval and review comments/suggestions with customer, project manager and manufacturing
Collaborate with facility and production teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of designs
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all drawings and designs
Analyze design specifications, including dimensions, materials, and fabrication processes, to determine feasibility and optimize production efficiency
Maintain an organized and up to date library of design files, drawings, and project documentation
To succeed in this role, you must:
Experience communicating on technical matters in production environment
Strong working knowledge of Lantek, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Solidworks 2-D and 3-D
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes such as welding, laser, brake press, milling, etc.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze/resolve design-related issues
Proficient computer skills
