REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Accounting degree or equivalent experience (4+ years of accounting experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction accounting environment
- Consistent work history
- Ability to process high volume data with accuracy
- Skilled in MS Office and Excel
- Must live in the DFW metroplex with legal authorization to work in the United States of America
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Establish and manage all project setups, reviewing contracts to confirm billing specifications, instructions, and requirements.
- Ensure monthly pay applications are accurately prepared, reviewed, and submitted on schedule.
- Set up and maintain accurate AIA billing and CCIP reporting.
- Address and resolve billing issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and General Contractor counterparts to build strong working relationships.
- Manage and provide required documentation, including insurance certificates and lien releases.
- Oversee collections to support timely cash flow.
- Adhere to and maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Perform high-volume data entry and generate reports using computer systems.
- Assist in supporting accounting audits.
