Our client is a leader in providing comprehensive environmental solutions through construction, remediation, demolition, abatement, industrial services, emergency and disaster response, specialty transportation and waste management services.
They are currently looking for a Project Accountant/Junior Cost Control Engineer in Anaheim, CA.
Full-time position. 5 days a week in the office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking costs, invoicing and providing Project Managers with professional and proficient administrative support for all project-related needs.
Essential Functional Areas of Responsibilities
- Work proactively with Project Managers to collect necessary documents & information for new project set up in ERP system.
- Utilize budgetary experience and knowledge to work with Project Managers on monthly projects Over/Under Reports.
- Review and distribute monthly KPI reports to Project and Sr. Management teams (job cost reports, change orders, project closeout, etc.).
- Review contract documents for financial details to ensure project compliance.
- Prepare monthly revenue projections and compile programmatic billing details for review prior to creating & submitting to client.
- Review, prepare, and maintain subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, preliminary notices, lien waivers, and certificates of insurance.
- Identify opportunities and areas for improvement, and offer suggestions and/or implement procedures, processes and/or tools that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Assist management in various tasks as needed.
- Perform basic office functions such as answering phone calls and scanning documents.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the construction industry.
Annual salary: $60000-$90000 based on experience.
