Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support their Project Managers in the efficient execution of electrical construction projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to multitask, and the capability to pivot as project needs evolve. The Project Administrator will play a critical role in managing project documentation, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the smooth operation of projects from start-up to closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with the preparation, review, and processing of project documents.
Utilize Procore to upload, download, and log project files.
Process time and material change proposals.
Prepare Operations & Maintenance manuals for client closeout.
Track material deliveries and coordinate with vendors.
Provide comprehensive support to project teams, both onsite and in the office.
Maintain project schedules, logs, and records.
Support the day-to-day needs of the Foremen, including writing and tracking RFIs.
Assist in the job closeout process, including the assembly and submission of O&M manuals.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction or a related industry.
Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or a similar field is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly rate of $28-30/hr (1.5x OT)
