The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing various aspects of project management, community acquisitions and transitions, community closures, client relationships, and entity setup and organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing complex projects and fostering positive client and vendor relationships.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones.
- New Community Acquisitions and Transitions:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value of newly acquired properties, ensuring successful integration into the company's portfolio.
- Prepares, updates, and manages working group lists, deadlines, data rooms, and checklists related to onboarding of properties.
- Facilitate smooth transitions of new communities into existing operations.
- New Developments:
- Oversee start up orders for new construction projects.
- Oversee and work with VP of Sales on establishing sales office to include but not limited to:
- Location
- Utility and Internet Set-up
- Ordering office furniture/equipment
- Work with Project and construction teams for monument sign and sales office signage.
- Work with owner and project team for bus and bus wrap.
- Community Closures:
- Manage the closure process for communities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies for affected stakeholders.
- Prepares, updates, and manages working group lists, deadlines, data rooms, and checklists related to offboarding of properties.
- Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
- Address client concerns promptly and work towards mutually beneficial solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, accounting/finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of client-related activities.
- Entity Setup and Organization:
- Establish and organize entities for new communities in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with corporate governance.
- Perform all other such tasks as may be required from time to time by an officer of Senior Living.
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, community operations, and client relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of real estate acquisition and divestment processes. Knowledge of senior living regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Requires a clear, concise, and logical communication style with a solution-forward approach. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Must be able to handle multiple demands, work well under pressure, and have the flexibility to assist the team in meeting client demands on accelerated schedules.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Adobe Pro, DocuSign, HRIS, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work as a positive team member.
