Seeking a Project Coordinator/Jr Project manager for a 12 month engagement
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator who aspires to grow into a Junior Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will support project management activities, ensuring effective communication and coordination among teams while maintaining project timelines and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager (PM) with portfolio management tasks.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Take meeting minutes and maintain project documentation.
- Communicate plans, actions, risks, and issues with stakeholders.
- Resolve issues that arise during projects.
- Monitor project quality measures and artifacts.
- Build and manage relationships with multiple teams.
- Analyze project data and produce progress reports.
- Provide updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure team members have necessary resources to complete tasks on time and within budget.
- Organize reports, invoices, contracts, and financial files.
- Plan meetings and manage project logistics.
- Coordinate minor projects.
- Travel approximately 50% for Censitrac implementations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business, Finance, Management, or related field.
- 1-2 years of Project Coordinator experience in the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize based on deadlines.
- Experience working with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
- Ability to influence and build respectful relationships.
- Adaptability to changing environments and timelines.
- Confidence in new environments.
- Knowledge of the Project Management Life Cycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating complex enterprise-wide projects.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Experience using ServiceNow.
- Background in analysis.
- Proficient in Smartsheet project management tools.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
