About the Job
The City of Bend Transportation and Mobility Department is actively recruiting for one (1) full-time, regular, Project Engineer. This opportunity is a non-represented, FLSA exempt position (overtime ineligible). The position reports to the Assistant City Engineer in the Transportation and Mobility Department.

Under general supervision applies broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices in a specific practice area. Independently evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Acquires general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and ability to function on multidisciplinary teams. Works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
This is a transportation-focused position that works on all stages of the transportation system from development plan review to designing and managing small multi-modal projects. The position supports asset management, new bicycle, pedestrian, and travel options programs, and grant applications.
