About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Travel to all Plants 50% Travel.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential obstacles and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage project timelines and milestones, tracking progress and addressing any deviations from the plan.
- Monitor project expenses and expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Communicate regularly with project team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead or participate in project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and post-project evaluations.
- Oversee the commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, helping to overcome technical challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Document project activities, outcomes, and lessons learned for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Previous experience in project management or engineering roles within the food manufacturing or bakery industry is preferred.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects from inception to completion.
- Knowledge of bakery equipment and systems, including ovens, mixers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to food manufacturing facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
