JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Engineer provides administrative, coordination, and field support to the Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Superintendent from the preconstruction to the close-out of the projects. Tasks you will be required to complete and or assist with include; plan and specification review, Submittals, RFIs, Change order requests, procurement paperwork, site visits, and more. This position requires organization, passion, dedication, accountability, and a strong desire to learn.
HIGH-LEVEL KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construction Documents Review & Analysis
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tasks you will be required to complete and or assist with include; plan and specification review, Submittals, RFIs, Change order requests, procurement paperwork, site visits, and more. This position requires organization, passion, dedication, accountability, and a strong desire to learn.
HIGH-LEVEL KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construction Documents Review & Analysis
- Assist the project manager in the submittal and RFI process
- Review’s drawings and specifications for clarifications, discrepancies, and missing information for preparation of RFCs and subcontractors Abstracts
- Create RFI log and track process
- Create Submittal Register logs
- Weekly Owner Project Progress Report
- Organize job site photos and daily reports
- Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports
- OAC Meetings
- Prepare and maintain OAC meeting notes
- Attend and participate in weekly OAC meetings
- Scheduling
- Assist with master schedule creation and maintenance
- Assist in 3-week look ahead schedules
- Punchlist
- Attend punch walk and create subcontractor list
- Assist as needed superintendent to closeout
- Close Out
- Coordinate, assemble, and distribute closeout documents
CORE COMPETENCIES / SKILL SETS:
- Proactive and Multi-task and prioritize in order to meet established goals and deadlines.
- Possess great organizational and communication skills.
- Understand contracts, plans, specifications, construction methods, and regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple jobs at the same time
- Work effectively with technology, software applications including; Microsoft Office, Outlook, & MS Project
- Be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be decisive and work well under pressure.
- Analyze and resolve problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field from four-year college or experience equivalent in the industry.
- Flexibility to travel to several projects located in the Colorado area.
- Self-motivated/goal-oriented
- Knowledge of reading/interpreting blueprints
